The founder, Mike Carter Sr, has been a collector for over 60 years and a full time dealer in rare coins for over 40 years with a previous coin store in California. He is a 50 year honored member of the ANA (American Numismatic Association). He is the author of numerous articles on coins and collecting and has also published a book on the subject. He is a former rare coin cataloguer for one of the world's largest auction and rare coin companies. Mike Carter Sr, retired but is still very involved. His son Mike Jr, took over in 2019. Mike Jr has been around and involved in the coin business his entire life and is extremely knowledgeable in all things Coins, Paper money, Fountain pens, and many other collectibles.
